Come and be an ice artist for the afternoon
Children and young people are invited to grab a chisel and become an ice artist for the afternoon in the centre of Billund this winter holidays.
Søren Cip Nielsen from Ice Team will be providing ice blocks and practical advice on how to make beautiful ice sculptures to all participants.
“It’s a great chance to try something new in Billund,” says Søren Vinther from the Billund Trade Association:
“We hope the town’s children and young people will come and join the activities in the centre of town during their winter holidays.”
The event during the winter holidays is just one of a number of initiatives the Billund Trade Association and Capital of Children Company have held in the recent past, all of which are fun and games that help make Billund the Capital of Children.
The ice-sculpting event is free and open to children six years and older. An adult must accompany children aged six to 10 years, while older children may attend on their own.
Children and young people can have fun with ice sculptures on Friday 15th February 2013 between 1pm and 5pm on the terrace between the parkour course and the Capital of Children Company. See more info here
